Service Details
Set ups
From £50 (price reflects the amount of work needed)
- •Old strings removed
- •Fretboard, body & hardware cleaned
- •Frets polished to a mirror finish
- •New strings fitted (your choice of gauge & brand)
- •Truss rod, nut & bridge action adjusted
- •Intonation optimised with a strobe tuner
- •Electronics inspected & cleaned where applicable
- •Pickup height adjusted for optimum audio balance
Fret level & crown
From £80 (includes a full set up)
- •Strings & neck removed, truss rod adjusted to straighten the fretboard
- •Loose frets or ends secured
- •Fret tops levelled until even and groove-free
- •Each fret re-crowned
- •Frets polished to a mirror finish
Re-frets
From £170 (for frets too worn for a level and re-crown)
- •Old frets removed
- •Fingerboard inspected and trued up where needed
- •Chips or gaps filled
- •New fret wire selected and installed
- •Frets levelled, crowned and polished to a mirror finish
- •Top nut adjusted or replaced where applicable
- •Full set up with choice of strings
Pickup replacement
From £30 plus parts
- •Old pickups removed
- •Solder points prepared
- •Pots replaced where needed, to optimum operating tolerances
- •New pickups fitted
- •Set up for optimum tonal output
